Date: Our first meeting was held in May 2019 and we’ve met every 2 months since then.
If you’re passionate about equality & diversity in health services this is the group for you! Members of the group work alongside us on equality & diversity matters by providing advice, feedback, ideas and scrutiny. Our aim is for the group to represent the different protected characteristics. Our members are all residents, patients and people from voluntary community groups who have something to contribute and a genuine desire to work with us. The Equality Reference Group plays a role in assuring the CCG around it’s equality analysis work and the work done to reach diverse, potentially excluded and disadvantaged groups. The group will input into and review Equality Impact Assessments.
